Improvement of the lightning protection of railway electronics devices

The number of lightning damages and interferences in signal and control railway circuits can be reduced by decreasing the number of arrester operations that protects power supply transformers of these circuits from lightning surges. The operation is accompanied by a voltage pulses on the transformer tank transmitted to the low-voltage circuits and able to cause their failure. The number of arrester operations and current pulses through the arrester were estimated by means of modeling of lightning waves in high voltage net. Quantified the efficiency of extra arresters on poles, adjacent to the transformer destination, in order to reduce the frequency and lightning pulse amplitudes in the circuits feeding the signal and control devices.

Еxperimental study of the modes of dc-dc converters three-phase structure of the active and active-inductive loads

In this paper, experimental investigations demonstrated transient mode dc-dc converters with a three-phase structure with active and active-inductive loads. Showing the influence of active and active-inductive load on the characteristics of dc-dc converter and the quality of transients. Experimental investigations have been carried out by means of simulation using the software packages intended for the investigation of dynamic systems.

To practical application of controlled compensator stiffness neodymium magnets

In this article discusses one of the options of restructuring of the system for the compensator stiffness permanent magnets, that is changing the axial distance between the magnets. During operation was obtained and shows the thrust developed by the magnitude of the armature relative to the base angle compensator stiffness.

The three-phase transformer with stabilizing properties

The construction of the three-phase transformer with stabilizing properties is presented. The novelty is the splittance of each leg in two segments. The stabilizing properties are caused by the constructive changes in the magnetic system and the electrical system. We demonstrate the influence of the current of short-circuit turns on the voltage stabilization. The short-circuit turns are rounded on the a segment of the each phase.

Methods of diagnosis of the steering control type gearless electromechanical amplifier

The paper proposes a method of diagnosing the type of steering control gearless electromechanical amplifier, wherein the possibility of control and diagnostic actions in two stages: directly on the car and on the bench. The algorithm reflects the sequence of operations and their essence to implement the task of establishing the technical state of mechatronic unit. A comprehensive performance indicator for assessing the suitability for use of the amplifier.

The calculation and analysis of the speed of the observer scheme DC motor

Definition of switching position of switched reluctance motors at control of average torque in the zone of low speeds

At regulation of average torque of switched reluctance motors torque ripple are most appreciable in a zone of low speeds. In this zone phase currents of the motors usually compulsorily limit, therefore at the expense of an available stock on pressure at an appropriate choice of positions of switching of phases it is possible to influence in some limits the form of phase currents and at the expense of it to achieve decrease in torque ripple. In this article possibilities of decrease in torque ripple are considered at use the most widespread a way of restriction of a phase current. Considering nonlinearity of processes in motors are spent with use of simulation modelling in the environment of MATLAB – Simulink. The short description of features of model is resulted. The best conditions of switching for the fixed values of levels of restriction of the current, defined of desirable values of the average torque of the motor, and independent change of positions of inclusion and switching-off of its phases are found.

Methods of analysis of electromagnetic compatibility

Currently, a growing number of highly sensitive electromagnetic elements for their reliable operation require solving various problems of electromagnetic compatibility. Ensuring simultaneous working of various types of electrical equipment in the limited-volume areas of paramount importance. The article presents the methods of analysis of electromagnetic compatibility: analytical methods for the analysis of electromagnetic fields of singular sources, groups of sources, optimal placement of sources and receptors in a confined space, ways of protection from harmful effects of electromagnetic fields, created by contact noise. At present with widespread use of information technologies, these problems can be solved more efficiently.

Electromagnetic compatibility of electrical installations and networks non-tractive electricity with the lectrified iron roads AC

In the article the analysis of the model, as well as promising solutions of systems of traction power supply of alternating current, including in terms of their electromagnetic compatibility with devices of power supply non-tractive. It is noted that the implementation of compliance requirements involves conducting a comprehensive techno-economic analysis for each case separately. In the form this analysis should take into account the interfaces between the various subsystems of electric Railways.

Proposed to improve the efficiency of the traction power system decision-making to take into account the non-sinusoidal nature of the electric current. In particular, the selection criteria and regulating power compensation unit can be accepted the ratio of consumption of electrical energy.

Justified use to supply non-tractive consumers of overhead lines with voltage 10 (20 and 35) kV with a step of transposition is equal to 7.5 km at the location of the transmission line on separate poles and a step of transposition is equal to 3 km at the location of the power lines in support of a contact network of alternating current. When the location of power lines 10 kV for the support of a contact network protection transmission lines from electromagnetic interference is provided by the inclusion of a resistive-capacitive filters.
